The Virtual Machin Album

The first Machins were issued on June 5, 1967. The history of the Machins is given elsewhere in this Machin Album. In 2007, Royal Mail decided to celebrate the 40^th anniversary of the Machins in a big way.

The image above was produced by Royal Mail and used on the invitation to a reception for a new exhibit by The British Postal Museum & Archive titled “Timeless & Classic: Elizabeth Queen & Icon.” The exhibit can be seen on the BPMA’s web site.
